Spice up your next potato salad by adding a new ingredient - Harvey Pork Sausages! By cutting the cooked sausages into thick slices they will compliment your favourite recipe and leave all your guests impressed.
Try these combinations:
Pork & apple sausages- potato, green beans, roasted cherry tomato & rocket dressed with cider vinegar, olive oil, salt & pepper.
Pork & leek sausages - potato, marinated feta, garden peas & mint dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, salt & pepper
Pork & apricot sausages - sweet potato, red onion, baby spinach & pinenuts dressed with yoghurt & chermoula spice mix.
Lightly brown your sausages under the grill or in a pan. Wrap the cooled sausage in thawed puff pastry. Seal the pastry and brush top with a beaten egg. Bake at 200oC until pastry is golden brown. For extra treat add your favourite grated cheese in the pastry with your sausage. Serve with tomato, sweet chilli or barbecue sauce.
Barbecue or grill your sausages according to packet instructions. While your pan or grill is hot cook some bacon rashes onion rings and sliced mushrooms. In a soft white hot dog roll, add your sausage, crispy bacon, onion grated cheese and top with your favourite sauce.
